- Page 158.--16th February, 1748. David Logan, farmer, to Wm. Craig, farmer. Corner Wm. Thompson; Samuel Givens; Cathey's River; Jane, wife of David.
- Page 336.--29th July, 1759. Martha Fruit's will (widow)--To Jean Logan, all concerns except one bed and a horse; to Wm. Care, one bed and a horse. Teste: Jno. Shanklin, Benj. Logan, Jannet McDonnald. Proved, 21st November, 1759, by the witnesses. Jane Logan qualified executrix, with Danl. Love, Charles Campbell. (Note: perhaps Martha was a sibling?).

- Page 228.--16th August, 1769. Settlement recorded of Robert Shanklin's estate (Edward Shanklin, executor)--Paid Jane Logan for 12 gallons whiskey; paid Joseph Peace for making a coffin and plank.
