Hi, I`ve seen many family trees with James B married to 2 women and a rather large group of children.

Are we for sure that he had B as a middle initial? Are there records of him being a James B?

My James B Shackelford had sons, Reuben who married Rebecca Johnston, Richard, William, Thomas, and daughters Elizabeth and Sarah. Sarah married Hugh Kenon/Keenon in 1787. The children all seems to have been born between 1750 and 1769. The marriages and probate court records and church records are all from Augusta County Va. for this family.

Sarah, Richard and Thomas are in Boone County KY by 1796. Reuben, Richard and William end up in Miami County Ohio.

Does this sound like anyones family?
    Cathy
