    "Nelson, James: is buried in the Stone church cemetery, located at Fort Defiance in Augusta County. He was born in September 1793 and died on 11 March 1854. He served as a Private in the Fifth, Virginia militia Regiment. He was the ruling Elder in the Augusta church. Information about his service may be found at the National Archives in roll box 152, record 17741. Information on this burial may be found in source number two on page 16."
