• Vol. 1 - John Anderson vs. Gilford and Anderson - O.S. 173; N.S. 61 - Bill, 1811. Orator had allowed his son, James Anderson, to occupy part of his plantation, and lent him a negro slave, which was attached upon execution from the Superior Court of law for Greenbrier. James Anderson came to reside more than 20 years ago. Will of John Anderson of Greenbrier County. Wife, Elizabeth; daughter Elizabeth; son James; daughter Peggy Reed; son James's children, viz: Rebeckah, John, Elizabeth, William, Washington, Davis, James, Nancy, Crawford, and the child James's wife is not pregnant with; son James's wife Nancy (Agness); son-in-law William Ward; daughter, Rebecca Ward. Dated 16th January 1810. Never recorded. (Objected to because testator is still living).
