- Vol. 2 - Marriage Bond in Augusta County - 1797--March 28, Jacob Creek and Jacob Deary, surety. Jacob Creek and Barbara Deary, daughter of Ustena Deary.
- Page 178.--16th May, 1816. Anny Kirkpatrick's will--Executors, Thomas Nelson and James Hanna; to mother, martha Kirkpatrick; brother, Thomas; to brother, James, and living sisters; sister, Jane Mickamy; to James Mickamy's oldest son; sister, Peggy Armstrong; brother, George Kirkpatrick. Teste: Jacob Crist (Creek), Jno. Crick, Jno. Nelson. Proved, 26th August, 1816. Executors qualify. (Note: John Crick mentioned in this record was probably Jacob's brother).
