A short note about George and Isobella Wilson and their family is to be on the family page.

A search has been made for Isobella's birthplace on FamilySearch in both their Scottish and English databases. It is very likely that she was born in Cumberland, England. There are two baptisms, one in 1771 and one in 1774, both in the city of Carlisle, for Isabella Wilson. Neither gives conclusive proof. There are other baptisms in smaller towns and rural parishes.

Isabella died just before the first all-person census available in Canada.
