Information on Isaac Rittenhouse

Isaac Rittenhouse, a son of Henry Rittenhouse, married Elizabeth Kauffman in Augusta County VA. In January of 1829, Isaac purchased two hundred acres of land in Nelson County, Virginia, and moved his family there. Ten months later, he was dead and the younger children, including Henry, were placed under the guardianship of relatives.
