- Mace, Isaac - born 7/16/1755 in Augusta County, Virginia; where entered service 1777 as indian spy; hired as substitute 1781 for army service; granted Pension 1834 in Kanawah [sic, s/b Kanawha] County, Virginia; name dropped from Pension rolls in 1835 when Pension Office proved he did not render enough service.
