JUNE 14, 2001 OBITUARY FROM FOSTORIA NEWSPAPER PARALYSIS CAUSES DEATH OF AGED BASCOM FARMER Isaac Frankart died at his home at Bascom Friday afternoon at 2:15 after an illness of three weeks. Paralysis was given as the cause of his death. The Funeral services will be held in St. Patrick's Church in Bascom Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Nicholas Traunero will be in charge of the services and the burial will be made in the parish cemetery. (St. Patrick's Church Cemetery) He was born at New Reigel, January 13, 1858 and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Frankart. January 31, 1882 he was married to Miss Theresa Nye at Bascom. Seven children were born to them one of which died 26 years ago. A number of years ago, Mr. Frankart retired from active work on the farm after having followed that occupation all his life. He had lived at Bascom for a number of years and was always a resident of this vicinity. He was a member of St. Patrick's church at Bascom. He is survived by his wife, six children, Mrs. G. P. Kressler of this city, Mrs. John Wall, Mrs. Harmon Steiger, and Robert Frankart of Tiffin, Edward Frankart at Bascom and Louise Frankart at home. He is also survived by 1 sister, Mrs. Martin Farrell of Columbus, four brothers John Frankart, S. C. Frankart, Jacob Frankart and George Frankart, all living near Bascom and by seven grandchildren.
