I have received on February 22, 2002 an e-mail from a Steve Frank whom has given me different birth dates for Nicholas Frankart Sr., and his wife Margareth Mertz.


Nicholas Frankart Sr., and his wife Margareth (Maerz) were early settlers of Seneca CO.

NICHOLAS FRANKHART

Nicholas Frankhart died at his home near St. Patrick's this mornig. Aged about seventy Five years. He is survived by seven children. Th arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed.

FRANKHART - NICHOLAS

Frankhart - Nicholas Frankhart died at his home in St. Patrick's parish Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. The deceased ws aged seventy-five years and seven months and was born in Germany. At the age of thirteen years he came to America with his parents and settled on a farm near New Riegel. He resided there for twenty years when he removed to his present home. He is survived by eight children. The funeral will be here at St. Patrick's Church. Saturday morning at 9 o'clock.
