Jacob Frankhart 77, 434 Beech Street, died in the family residence Monday, after a four year illness.
He was born October 16, 1867 in New Reigel, the son of Nicholas and Margaret (Mertz) Frankhart, and was married to Elizabeth Bloser in St. Patrick's Church, Bascom,OH, August 28, 1888.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Frankhart; five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Droll, Fostoria, Mrs. Max Bahnsen, Toledo, Mrs. Earl Graham, Fostoria, Mary and Mathilda Frankhart, at home; four sons Martin, of Detroit, Thomas, of Tiffin, David, of Fostoria and Peter, at home; one brother Andrew Frankhart, Fostoria; 22 grand-children and three great grand-children. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, five brothers and one son.
Mr Frankhart was a member of St. Wendelin's Church, Fostoria, OH, and the Holy Name Society of St. Wendelin's. Solemn mass will be sung in St. Wendelin's Church Wednesday, April 11, at 9:30 a.m. The body will be returned Monday night from Sullivan-Foos Funeral Home to the residence where friends may call until time for services. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. (St. Wendelin Cemetery) Fostoria, OH.
