Hugh, who patented land on Clark’s Creek of Anson in 1761, contemporaneously with William. In 1771, he sold that NC land, identifying himself as a resident of Botetourt. His will was proved May 1785 in Botetourt, naming brothers Blaney and John Sr., along with John’s son Hugh.
