Obituary HERMAN McHATTEN CASTLE HILL - Herman McHatten, 72, died suddenly April 17, 1977 at his State Road residence. He was born at Castle Hill, August 27, 1904, the son of Herbert and Asenath (Littlefield) McHatten. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Castle Hill Advent Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Verna (Sharp) McHatten, Castle Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Vella) Condon, Wade, Sister Mary Timothy McHatten, Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Stanley, Robert, and Rowell McHattem, all of Castle Hill; three sisters, Mrs. Jesse (Eliza) Watt, Castle Hill, Mrs. Matthew (Maude) Franco, Sarasota, Fla., Mrs Alphonse (Margaret) Salvatore, Southington, Conn.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Michael (Joyce) Boynton, Houlton, Herman George Condon, Castle Hill, Mrs Brian (Kerry) Kenney, Mapleton. Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesdat at 1 p.m. with the Rev. David Ross officiating. Burial will be in Castle Hill Cemetery.
