Asenath McHatten Asenath McHatten, 88, widow of Herbert McHatten, died Friday evening, Aug. 7, at a Presque Isle Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. McHatten was born January 28, 1882, a Chapman, the daughter of Mayhew and Eliza (Biran) Littlefield. She was a member of the Mapleton Methodist Church, and was a resident of Castle Hill most of her life. She is survived by her four sons, Herman, Stanley, Robert and Rowell, all of Castle Hill; three daughters, Mrs. Eliza Watt of Castle Hill, Mrs. Maude Lovley and Mrs. Margaret Salvatore, both of Southington, Conn., eighteen grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug 10, at Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle. The Rev. Raymond Murchie, pastor of the Mapleton Methosidt Church, officiated. Dennis Lovley, Kevin Lovley, Robert Salvatore, Rowell McHatten Jr., Richard Watt and Dana McHatten, grandsons of Mrs. McHatten, served as pall bearers. |
