Eliza J. Watt BANGOR - Eliza J. Watt, 90, wife of the late Jess A. Watt, died Sept. 27, 1999, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 1, 1909, the daughter of Herbert and Asenath (Littlefield) McHatten. She lived all her life in Castle Hill and had a hobby of making quilts. She had many pen pals. Mrs. Watt is survived by a son, Richard F. Watt Sr. and his wife Pat of Castle Hill; two daughters, Gertrude Beaulieu and her husband Edward of Mapleton and Ruth Wood of Presque Isle; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Robert McHatten and his wife Anne and Rowell McHatten all of Castle Hill; two sisters, Maude Allodi of Sarasota, Fla. and Margaret and her husband Alphonse Salvatore of Southington, Conn.; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Vella Condon of Wade. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a son Herbert "Sonny" Watt; two daughters, Helen Watt and Elizabeth Watt; three brothers, Stanley, Herman and Elmer. The funeral was held Oct. 1 at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle with the Rev. Alan Chamberlin officiating. Interment was in Ashland Municipal Cemetery.
