Obituary STANLEY H. McHATTEN CASTLE HILL - Stanley H. McHatten, 79, died May 17, 1986, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1906, in Castle Hill, the son of Herbert and Asenath (Littlefield) McHatten. He had been a potato farmer in Castle Hill for more than 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Gertha (Richardson) McHatten of Castle Hill; three sons, Dana and Hugh McHatten, both of Castle Hill, and Dale McHatten of Mapleton; two brothers, Robert and Rowell McHatten of Castle Hill; three sisters, Eliza Watt of Castle Hill, Maude Allodi of Sarasota, Fla. and Maragret Salvador of Southington, Conn., 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Herman McHatten. Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle, 7-9 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Frank Thomas and Leslie Bededoe officiating. Interment will be in the Southside Cemetery, Mapleton.
