Obituary VERNA M. MCHATTEN WADE- Verna M. McHatten, 81, wife of the late Herman M. McHatten, died Dec. 14, 1991, at her home in Wade. She was born in Castle Hill Nov. 18, 1910, the daughter of John and Frances (Erb) Sharp. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gerald "Judd" D. (Vella) Condon of Wade and Maxine McHatten of Mt. Angel Ore.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Joyce, Mike and Mathew Boynton of Lincoln, Herman Pat, Kara and Mark Condon, Kerry, Brad and Jamey Kenney, all of Castle Hill; one brother, Floyd Sharp of Brentwood, N.H.; three sisters, Evelyn Provost of FLorida, Dot Corey of Castle Hill and Edrie Corey of Crouseville; a dear sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anne and Robert McHatten of Castle Hill and a sister-in-law, Eliza Watt of Castle Hill; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marie Joyce McHatten; one sister, Thirza Smith; and four brothers, Merle Sharp, Leonard Sharp and Frank "Bill" Sharp. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be at Castle Hill Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Main Division, Inc., P.O. Box 456, Brunswick 04011, or to the charity of one`s choice. Arrangements are by Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
