Mrs. Gotta K. Cline, 81, of 283 2nd St. NW, Carrollton, died Wednesday morning, May 21, in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a five-day illness. Born in Kilgore December 28, 1898, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Amelia (Arnold) Kohler and was a life resident of Carroll County. She had worked as a clerk in the former Sterling Drug Store and retired in 1975 from Mills Jewelry Store, both of Carrollton. Her husband, Frank Cline, preceded her in death. A member of First United Presbyterian Church, here, she also was a member of the Carrollton and Lee Twp. Senior Citizens and the local Senior Citizens Kitchen Band.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Eula Stevens of Columbus, Mrs. Mervin (Ruth) McLaughlin and Mrs. Marie Long of Carrollton, and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister are deceased. Services were held Friday in the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. John Visser officiating. Burial was in the Kilgore Cemetery.
