In 1762 Delft ware appears in The Valley inventories. The good man is now becoming thrifty, the good wife must have something in which to keep her treasured plates and dishes, and in 1764, we find a corner cupboard. Perhaps this was made by George Inglebird, the clever carpenter employed by John Latham, in 1766, to make him a table "with four divisions in the drawer", and a bedstead.
