- Page 230.--8th September, 1766. George Darr's will--Debts and funeral charges to be paid, and if anything remains, his will is that Col. Wm. Preston have it who has for many years past during my misfortune treated me with great friendship and humanity. Wm. Preston to be executor. Teste: Francis Smith, Henry Carter. Proved, 16th August, 1769, by Henry Carter. Francis Smith qualifies, with John Mills.
- Page 230.--16th August, 1769. William Preston's renunciation of executorship of George Darr's estate provided the Court will grant administration to Capt. Francis Smith, but if they will not, then Wm. will qualify. Teste: Arthur Campbell.

Friday the 2nd of November. 5 Geo. III. 1764:
- A Petition of George Darr, a wounded and disabled Soldier, in the Service of this Colony, praying such Relief as this House shall think reasonable, was presented to the House and read.
- Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of Claims; that they examine into the Allegations thereof and report the same, with their Opinion thereon, to the House.
Monday the 5th of November. 5 Geo. III. 1764:
- Mr. Cary, from the Committee of Claims, reported that the said Committee had had under their Consideration the Petition of Jacob Boius and George Darr, to them referred, and had come to the following Resolutions thereon; which he read in his Place, and then delivered in at the Table, where they were again twice read, and agreed to by the House. Resolved.
