Florence Tayek, 95, formerly of McGregor, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, in Green Lea Manor Nursing Home, Mabel, Minn., following a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, McGregor, by the Rev. Robert Hirsch and the Rev. Ronald Friedell. Burial: St. Patrick's Cemetery, Monona. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, McGregor. Arrangements with Schluter Balik Funeral Home, Decorah. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, La Verna Tayek of Camanche and Marie Tayek of Miami, Fla.; five nieces, Connie Lessard and husband Roger of Camanche, Patricia Voss and husband Ron of Clinton, Virginia Meana of Marquette, Karol Walsh and husband Bob of Imperial, Mo., and Sharon Ryan of Miami, Fla.
