Mrs. Anna Blietz Tayek

Mrs. Anna Blietz Tayek died Sunday afternoon at the Tayek home in McGregor and funeral services were held at 9:30 from the Catholic church in McGregor, with burial in St. Patrick's cemetery in Monona. Surviving are the widower, Ben Tayek; two daughters, Misses Florence Tayek and Ruth Tayek; two sons, Harold Tayek and Benjamin Tayek Jr., all of McGregor; her aged father, Charles Blietz of Monona; two sisters, Mrs. Adeline Steirt of Monona and Mrs. David R. Snell of Buffalo Center; and three brothers, Joseph Blietz and Hugo Blietz of Monona, and J.A. Blietz of Carbondale, Ill. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Evarista Tayek; and two brothers, Benjamin Blietz and William Blietz. Mrs. Tayek lived a life of prayer and sacrifice and simplicity, most happy when surrounded by her family. She resided near Monona until 1927 when the Tayek family moved to McGregor. The sympathy of the entire community is extended the family in their loss.
