After William died, it was six weeks before Elizabeth got word. Olga Holl's family history info says that Wm Katterheinrich was buried in Richmond, VA. Wm. wrote often -Flora, his daughter,kept the letters. The Widow, Elizabeth, next married Christ Luft and had three more daughters, Amelia, Malinda and Anna. Christ died of lung trouble. The twice widowed Elizabeth then married George Holl in 1873 and they had six children.
