m. 15 May 1862 - Flora Caroline Katterheinrich1864 - 1947
Facts and Events
Olga Holl's family history info says that Wm Katterheinrich was
buried in Richmond, VA [Baltimore, MD]. Wm. wrote often - Flora, his daughter, kept
the letters. The Widow, Elizabeth, next married Christ Luft and had
three more daughters, Amelia, Malinda and Anna. Christ died of
lung trouble. The twice widowed Elizabeth then married George Holl
in 1873 and they had six children.
Lived at Fryberg, but owned the building her father had built to
start his wagon making industry in. The industry was carried on
by her Uncle Henry Katterheinrich after her father's death.
The original wagon making store on Spring Street was converted
into a dwelling.
Flora never saw her father, nor did he see her, as she was born
after he left to serve in the Civil War. He wrote his family
often and Flora always kept the letters.
