Will Book 2, pg. 270 & 271:

Know all men by these presents

That I, Henry Christian Luft, of New Knoxville, County of Auglaize, State of Ohio, being in ill health but of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made and as to my worldly estate and all the property real and personal of which I shall die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, I devise, bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following:

First, my Will is that all my just debts shall by my Executor be paid out of my Estate as soon as convenient.

Second, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Elisabeth Christina Luft, all my property or estate both real and personal for her use as long as she lives and after her decease or death, it shall go to my three beloved children, Amelia M., Malinda, and Anna W.
