17.6 Elizabeth (3) STROHL (Elizabeth 2, John 1) born abt. 1840, Laurel Twp., Hocking Co., Oh., t o John and Elizabeth (Rittgers) Strohl. She is age 10 on the 1850 census with parents there. (p 28 fam#405/414) On 1860 census with parents, age 17, Laurell, Hocking Co., Oh.(p 156fam #9 83/971) Hocking Co. Book "C" of Marr., p. 56 gives us marriage of Christian Berry to Elizabet h Strohl, 4 Apr 1861, Hocking Co., Oh. It also reports the marr. on page 71 of Joseph Primme r marrying Elizabeth Strohl 1 Sept 1861. Further research needed to determine which is ou r Elizabeth.
