Researcher Frances Robertson gives us the name of Sarah Crissup and that he m. (2) Laura Gray in Loup Co., Neb. She was born in North Carolina. On the 1900 census, Newton Precinct, Loup Co., Neb., Daniel, 48, is a farmer. With him is wife Susan N., age 32, who declares they married 4 years and she has born no children. She is raising his children, though, as we see 5 children in the home. These children all b. Neb. Susan declares she and her parents b. North Carolina. (ED 158, p. 8A, fam #46/46)
