Mrs. Eccard who was wellknown and highly esteemed, is survived by eleven children as follows:John and William at home; Noah, Garfield; Simon, Chewsville; Harry,Church Hill; Mrs. Sarah Arnsparger, Half Way; Mrs. Pearl Hill,Hagerstown; Mrs. Ethel Wolfe, Cavetown; Mrs. Minnie Babinton, Garfield;Mrs. Hattie Bear, Wolfsville; Mrs. Rosie Frey, Wolfsville. Two brothersand three sisters also survive: Millard Shuff, Point of Rocks; ColmanShuff, Tiffin, Ohio; Mrs Lucretia Brandenburg, Wolfsville; Mrs. S.L.Blickenstaff, Benevola; Mrs. Blanche Bake, Ellerton. The funeral tookplace Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, with services conducted in theUnited Brethren church, by Rev. Irving Stottlemyer of the Church of theBrethren, assited by the pastor, Rev. Palmer Slenker. Interment was madein the cemetery adjoining."
