- ↑ "William G. Eccard, 67, 635 Adams Avenue, Hagerstown, died at WashingtonCounty Hospital, Friday evening. A son of Simon P. and Effie ShuffEccard he was a member of the United Methodist church, Wolfsville.Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Sylvia L Owens Eccard; two daughters,Mrs. Victor Burham, Myersville; Mrs. Viola Levenduski, Myersville; twosons, William G. Eccard, Jr., Myersville; Guy Eccard, Bethesda; ninegrandchildren, four great grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Earl Wolf,Smithsburg; Mrs. Minnie Babington, Hagerstown and Pearl Hill,Hagerstown. The body rests at Bittle Funeral Home, Myersville, where thefamily will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services willtake place from the funeral home Monday at 2pm with Rev. Harvey Wilderofficiating. Interment will be in Salem United Methodist cemetery,Wolfsville. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be madeto the Heart Association."
