The marriage record noted Edward as age 29, residence Madron, occupation commercial traveller, and his father as William Pascoe, Innkeeper. Their marriage was reported in the Cornish Telegraph on June 11, 1862: At Madron, on Tuesday, by the Rev George Scobell, Mr. Edward Pascoe, commercial traveller, to Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. Barzillai Beckerleg, baker, Penzance. Elizabeth was age 30, a spinster, and residing in Madron at the time of marriage. Elizabeth James Beckerleg was born c.1832, in Penzance, Cornwall.
