Obituary

EDNA EVELYN BRENNEMAN, 96

 Loving mother and grandmother, Edna E. Brenneman passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Bortz Health Care in Petoskey.
 She was born Dec. 19, 1916, in Boyne City to Curzon and Isetta Mae (Hosler) Kent.  She grew up and attended school in both Boyne City and East Jordan.
 She was married to Kenneth Skinner who preceded her in death in 1984.  Edna raised five children; sadly three of those children, Irving, Wilbert and Delbert, also preceded her in death.
 Edna retired in the mid 1980s from Northern Michigan Hospital, working for most of her adult life as a cook in the hospital kitchen.
 Edna is survived by two of her children, Lionel Skinner and Norma Fettig.  She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren.
 Her life will be celebrated with a funeral service at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 29, at Stone funeral Home, with pastor Gary Biggs officiating.  Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
 Interment will take place within Lakeview Cemetery in Bellaire.
