Obituary 

  KENT, Curzon B. -- Age 84, of Flint, died Sunday, September 25, 1994 at Clara Barton Nursing Home.  Funeral services will be 10AM, Wednesday, September 28, 1994 from the Brown Funeral home, 1616 Davison Rd., Flint, Pastor Leonard W. Gamber officiating.  Interment in Edwards Twp. Cemetery, West Branch, MI.  Visitation will be 11AM-9PM Tuesday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Genesse Council of the Blind.  Mr. Kent was born in East Jordan, MI March 26, 1910.  He served in the U.S. Navy C.B.s during WWII.  He worked as a Gas Linesman for Consumer's Power, retiring in 1965 after 17 years of service, later working as a Crossing Guard for the Flint School System.  Surviving are: wife, Shirley ; 4 children, Gerald and wife Margo Kent of East Jordan, MI, Beverly and husband Aaron Coleman of Elk Rapids, MI, Lorna Whitey of Center Lake, MI, Daniel and wife Juaneta Kent of Center Lake, MI;  stepson John and wife Sharon Stirling of Davison; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Letha Decker of East Jordan, Edna Brennaman of Petoskey; 2 brothers, Kenneth Kent of East Jordan and Harold Kent of East Jordan.
