Obituary

LETHA M. DECKER, 81
  Letha M. Decker, 81, of East Jordan, died Jan. 17, 1995, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.
  Funeral will be a 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Paullin Funeral Home in East Jordan, Pastor David L. Scott of the Pleasant Valley Free Methodist church will officiate, with interment following at Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
  Mrs. Decker was born March 18, 1913, in Boyne City, the daughter of Curzon B. and Izetta (Hosler) Kent.
  On Oct. 10, 1931, in East Jordan, she married Charles F. Decker, and he survives.
 Mrs. Decker worked at Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan for 15 years, from 1957-1972.
 She is survived by her husband, Charles F. Decker, of East Jordan; one son, Carl J. Decker and his wife, Shirley, of East Jordan; two daughters, Shirley A. Shirey and her husband, Harold, and Linda L. Shaw and her husband, Richard, all of East Jordan; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren;two brothers, Kenneth Kent and Harold Kent, both of East Jordan; one sister, Edna Brennerman of Petoskey; and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Kent of Flint, and Amelia Kent of Central Lake.  Mrs. Decker was preceded in death by two sons, Charles F. Decker Jr. and Herbert "Larry" Decker; three brothers, Curson Kent Jr., William Kent and Herbert Kent; and by one sister, Verna Etcher.
  Friends may call 2-9 p.m. today, Jan. 18, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday, Jan 19, at the Paullin Funeral Home in East Jordan.
 ] Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to the donor's choice.
