Obituary Walter H. Brenneman, 67

 Walter H. Brenneman, 67, of Petoskey, died Sept. 19, 1984, at Little Traverse Division of Northern Michigan Hospitals.
 Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept 22, at Stone Funeral Home, Petoskey.  The Rev. William Shumaker will officiate and burial will be in the Mennonite Cemetery in Brutus.
 He was born in Mayton, Alberta, Canada, on Nov. 17, 1916,the son of John and Alzine Brenneman.  He moved to Brutus with his family as a young boy and attended school there.
 Mr. Brenneman was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army.
 Soon after his discharge from the army, he moved to the Petoskey area where he has lived since.
 While in this area, he worked at the Michigan Tanning and Extract Co., Barnum Brothers and the McLaughlin Co. where he retired in 1961 after 20 years of employment.
 In 1949, he married the former Edna Skinner in Bellaire.
 Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Norma Jean) Fettig of Petoskey; four sons, Irving Skinner of Santa Fe, N.M., Lionel Skinner of Bellaire, Wilbert Skinner of Petoskey, and Delbert Skinner of Phoenix, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Brenneman of Pennsylvania and Raymond Brenneman of South Bend, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Martin (Norma) Reed and Mrs. Erma McKonly, both of Pennsylvania.
 The family suggest memorials to the Emmet County Unit of the American Cancer Society.  Envelopes for that purpose may be obtained at the Stone Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21.
