Ooley, David - born 9/16/1758 in Staunton, [Augusta County] Virginia; entered service in Botetourt County, Virginia, where resided, in Virginia regiment; moved after Revolutionary War to Madison County, Kentucky, for 9 years, then to Barren County, Kentucky for 10 years, then to Gallatin County (area later White County), Illinois for 11 years, thence Wayne County, Illinois, where applied for pension in 1832; Pension Application Rejected, less then 6 months service, F-R7808, R1846.
