- Marriage Bond - 1785--April 2, Cornelius Vanosdale and Jane Wilson, daughter of William Wilson; surety, Elibabb Wilson. Cornelius is son of Cornelius Vanosdale. Witnesses, Ralph Wilson. Elibab Wilson. (Note: Ralph Wilson and James Wilson were both brothers of Jame Wilson).
- Marriage Record - 1785, _____ __--By Saml. Shannon, V. D. M.: April 11th, Cornelius Vanosdal and Jane Wilson.

- Vanausdale, Cornelius - born 12/3/1758 in Somerset County, New Jersey, where entered service 1776 in Virginia company; moved 1778 to Augusta County, Virginia, where entered service in Virginia regiment; Pensioned 1832 in Greenbrier County, Virginia; James Gregory made affidavit there then abt. age 80, he served 1778 with soldier in Revolutionary War; Thomas Blake made affidavit there then abt. age 72, he served 1781 in same regiment with soldier, per County Clerk of Court John Mathews; soldier made affidavit there 1833, per County Justice of the Peace Henry Erskine; soldier resided 1841 in Lawrence County, Ohio, with son Minedred W.; last Pension payment in file 1842; surname also spelled Vanausdall. F-SS15691, R2440.
