Vanasdal, John, born 9/25/1763, Somerset County, New Jersey, where entered service 1778 as drummer in NJ regioment; Pensioned 1833 in Brooke County, Virginia; clergyman Edward Smith & Moses Carpenter made affidavit there then per County Court Clerk Adam Kuhn. Thomas Peterson made affidavit there 1834 age 77 he served several tours in same Revolutionary War company with soldier per County Justice of the Peace David Pugh. F-S1161, R2439.
