                                                 OBITUARY
                           (Palladium-Times November 22, 1971)

Mrs. Clara E. Mayer, 78 of 248 E. Tenth St. died Saturday evening at Harr-Wood Nursing Home following a long illness. She was the widow of Llewelyn A. Mayer.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Monette Perkins and a communicant of St. Peters Catholic church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward(Marie)Bernys, Oswego, and Mrs. David (Shirley) Quesnell, Syracuse; two sons, Francis and Foster J. Mayer, Oswego; three sisters, Mrs. Adeline LaBarge, Fulton, Mrs. George(Hilda) Sparks, Florida and Mrs. Dorothy Kane, Syracuse; 4 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:30am at the Dain Funeral Home and at 9. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are this evening from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
