Llewellyn A. Mayer, 75, husband of Mrs. Clara Perkins Mayer, 248 E. Tenth St., died Wednesday afternoon in Oswego Hospital after a short illness.

Born in Oswego, June 19, 1889, he was the son of the late Joseph and Carrie Richards Mayer.

Mr. Mayer was moulder by occupation. He had worked at Ames Iron Works and was retired from Morris Machine Shop. He was a communicant of St. Peters Catholic church, a member of its Holy Name Society and a life member of the Foresters.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Edward(Marie) Bernys and Mrs. David(Shirley)Quesnell, Oswego; two sons, Francis L. of New York City, and Foster of Oswego; two brothers, Frank of Florida and Clarence of Auburn; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Taber and Mrs. Lee (Viola) Martin, both of Oswego; 14 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30am at the Dain funeral home and at 9 am in St. Peters church. Burial will be in St. Peters cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home Thursday and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm.
