The following was taken from the Oswego Palladium-Times: PERSONALS: I, the undersigned, will not be responsible for any bill contracted by any one but myself. FOSTER PERKINS "OSWEGO MAN WEDS" Oswego, June 10 - The marriage of Miss Mabel Rosamond Wills, Scriba and Foster Joseph Perkins, 38 East Tenth and One Half street, took place this morn- ing at St. Louis rectory, Rev. Michael Braun officiating. Miss Alice Van Buren was bridesmaid while Grover LaBarge was bestman. The couple will reside at 38 East Tenth and One Half street.
OBITUARY Foster J. Perkins, 47, a naval veteran of the first World War and long a resident of the Second ward, died Sunday night(December 31, 1944) in Oswego Hospital after an illness of a few days. Mr. Perkins was born in Oswego, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Perkins and the late Joseph Perkins of 38 East Tenth and One Half street. He was a welder by occupation and a communicant of St. Louis Church. Surviving besides his mother, are six sisters, Mrs. John A. Labarge, Fulton; Mrs. William Mitchell, Newburgh; Mrs. Llewellyn Mayer, Oswego; Mrs. George Sparks, Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Preston Nihoff, Oswego; Mrs. John R. Kane, Syracuse, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at the Dain funeral home and at 9:30 o'clock in St. Louis Catholic Church. Internment will be in St. Peters Cemetery. (Died Sunday night at 8:20pm on December 31, 1944. Buried Wednsday January 3, 1945.) This was their first marriage. References
