OBITUARY

                                           Mrs. Winifred Mitchell

Mrs. Winifred A. Mitchell, 66, wife of William Mitchell of 270 First St., died Monday(April 1, 1957)in St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Oswego, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Monett Perkins, and had lived in Newburgh for 38 years. She was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart.

Surviving besides her husband, are two sons, Edward and Thomas Mitchell of Newburgh; two daughters, Beatrice Treacy of Newburgh and Elizabeth Seifert of Syracuse; four sisters, Adeline Labarge of Fulton; Mrs. Louis Meyers of Oswego Mrs. Margaret Nyhoff of Oswego, and Mrs. Jay Kane of Syracuse.

Funeral services will be held at the John Sloan White Funeral Home, 264 Grand St., on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., and at 10:30 a.m. A solemn Mass of requiem will be offered in the Church of the Sacred Heart. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery by J. J. Wheeler.

Miss Winifred Perkins, Oswego is visiting Mrs. Louis Shambo of N. Division St.
