He came to America with his parents at age 13. The family originally went to Davis County Iowa and then moved to Illinois. Christian remained in Iowa where he farmed near Pulaski, Iowa. Around 1900 he moved to Idaho and in 1906 the family moved to Canada. Christian died in Canada.
