- Vol. 1 - 1769. - Michael Bowyer's account as Jailor allowed for insolvent fees for 1769: Charles Harris, in goal for debt, 20 days.
- Page 477.--11th January, 1772. Be it known to all persons to whom it may Concern, that whereas Simon Casedy hath taken a Liberty to spread some Slanderous Reports upon John Hall's Daughter concerning her Chasity and on Robert Wiley Concerning Stealing or taking of Bells Clendestantly, and, on being Convicted thereof, he doth hereby freely Acknowledge his fault that what he said was Positively false, malicious and without foundation, and that he is Heartily sorry for the same to which he hath subscribed this 11th of January, 1772.--Simon Casidy. Teste: John Poage, Moses Wall, Chas. Harris, and several others.
