Philip ( ) Nicholas, eldest son of Samuel Nicholas and John Thomas, executors of Samuel Nicholas to Jacob Brunk, of Frederick County, Maryland, on Brock's Creek, patented to William Rutledge. 20th August, 1745, and by him conveyed to Cornelius Ruddle.
