    Betty Fern Endrek, age 98, of Findlay, died at 8:05pm on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at The Heritage in Findlay. She was born on January 3, 1918 in Pleasant Township in Hancock County to the late Fred and Leola Belle (Crumrine) Byal. On November 29, 1941, she married Albert J. Endrek and he died on May 8, 1975. She is survived by a son: Arden A. Endrek of Findlay; daughters: Donna L. Endrek of Findlay, Betsy (Mike) Harpst of Findlay, Fran Mullins of Findlay, and Carol Lauf of Ottawa; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by a grandson: Steve Aukerman; brother: Doyle Byal; sister: Marcella Shoemaker. She was a registered nurse having graduated from the Lucas County Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ, B.V. Hospital Twig #17, the McComb Progress Study Club, Marion Haley Chapter #62 Blue Star Mothers, and was a Red Cross Chapter Nurse for the bloodmobile. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 4-8pm at the COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at McComb Union Cemetery.
