Services for Albert J. Endrek, 55, Ohio 186, McComb, were held last Saturday in Hartley Funeral Home, McComb. The Rev. Dennis King officiated. Burial was in McComb Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the McComb Public Library.
Mr. Endrek was born Sept. 17, 1919 in Lakewood to Steven and Susan (Lesko) Endrek. On Nov. 2, 1942 he married Betty Byal and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Arden, of Findlay, daughters, Mrs. Carol Gulgin, Ottawa, Mrs. Michael (Elizabeth) Harpst, Findlay, Miss Donna Endrek, Findlay, and Mrs. Jeff (Fran) Aukerman, McComb; sisters, Mrs. Fred (Martha) Cimo, Cleveland, Mrs. Harvey (Irene) Doucet, Parma Heights, a half sister, Mrs. Emma Jostis, Cleveland, and a half brother, Stephen Endrek, Beckford, and five grandchildren.
Mr. Endrek was a four-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. He was a past member of the McComb Public Library Board and a former member of the Pentecostal Evangelical Luther Church, Lakewood. He organized Little League Baseball in McComb in 1951 and graduated cum laude from Findlay College in 1945.
He was a senior data processor for Marathon Oil.
