Funeral services for Marcella Shoemaker, 65, of McComb, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hartley Funeral HOme, McComb, the Rev. Kempton Oakes officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shoemaker died at 9:55 p.m. Saturday in the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo.
She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Pleasant Township to George and Leola (Crumrine) Byal. She married Emmett E. Shoemake on Sept. 13, 1943, and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard and Tom, both of McComb; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Betty Endrek, Findlay.
Mrs. Shoemaker retired in 1980 after 20 years with the Ingold Bulk Plant, McComb. She was a member of McComb Church of Christ, where she had been organist for 50 years and had served as church treasurer. She was also a member of Progress Study Club, Blue Star Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary, all in McComb.
