Both Hermann, age 30, and Bertha (Zumach) Müller, age 30, immigrated with their daughter 4 year old Ida Marie Augusta Müller, Sept. 10, 1896 via the Port of Baltimore, on the ship Roland. Settled in Lake Benton, Minnesota (relatives [Uncle] in area) they farmed for others then bought a farm in Ryder, North Dakota in 1915 (land was cheaper). Bertha (Zumach) Mueller's death certificate lists her parents as: Augest Zumach and Wilhilmia Garmatz. [Kirk B Mayer (great-grandson)]
