Ann Kempson was baptised on 19th September 1792 at Totternhoe in Bedfordshire, daughter of Judith Kempson, formerly Sear, and her husband George Kempson, a labourer.

In 1815 Ann's father died, and in 1823 her father died.

On 28th January 1828, aged 35, Ann married a widower called William Dyer Seabrook. He had two children from his first marriage. Ann and William went on to have another daughter baptised at Totternhoe in 1833.

The 1841 census finds Ann living with her stepdaughter (also called Ann) and her daughter at Church End in Totternhoe. Both women's husbands were away from home on census night. Ann was working as a straw plaiter. The house where they were living was next door to Ann's brother George Kempson and his family.

Ann died in 1847, aged 54. She was buried at Totternhoe, where she appears to have lived her whole life, on 4th February 1847.
