William Dyer Seabrook was baptised on 26th December 1790 at Totternhoe in Bedfordshire, son of William and Martha Seabrook.

In 1810, aged about 20, he married Hannah King at Totternhoe, and they had two children baptised there. Hannah died in 1819, aged 30.

In 1828, aged 37, William married again. His second wife was Ann Kempson, who was 35. They appear to have had one more child together, being a daughter baptised in 1833.

The 1841 census finds Ann living at Church End in Totternhoe with William's daughter Ann from his first marriage and her daughter. William was away from home on census night, as was Ann's husband. The family was living next door to William's wife Ann's brother's family.

Ann died in 1847, aged 54, leaving William a widower for a second time at the age of 56.

William appears in the 1851 census at Totternhoe living with his daughter Ann and her family, and seemingly in the same house that his family had been in ten years earlier as they are listed next to his late wife Ann's family again. He was working as an agricultural labourer.

William continued to live with his daughter Ann and her family, appearing with them again in the 1861 census. William died in 1862, aged about 72.
